Two-stage reaction textures: (1) symplectitic intergrowth of clinopyroxene and anorthitic plagioclase, formed via the breakdown of porphyroblastic garnet according to the reaction Grs + Qz → Cpx (symplectitic) + An; (2) coronal garnet+quartz separating symplectitic clinopyroxene from anorthitic plagioclase due to reversed crossing of the same reaction, i.e. Cpx (symplectitic) + An → Grt (coronal) + Qz. Reaction texture (1) was formed during steep UHT/HT-decompression; reaction texture (2) during subsequent near-isobaric cooling.
